I also included how many games they have for each console and the availability at the time of this review.

Under header is a sub hearer with a list of Hottest Selling Games. You can switch to Most Popular Rentals or Hottest Trade-Ins.

Video Game Information

Each game is displayed with an image of the game box, the game title, a buy, trade, rent button, and the sale price. You can hover your mouse over the game to see the following:

  • Publisher
  • Release Date
  • ESRB
  • Players
  • Genres
  • Star Rating
  • Buy Price
  • Trade Price
  • Availability

Clicking the game will get you the same information as well as a game description and member reviews of the game and the option to leave your own review.

Members can leave a review and select a star rating from 1 to 5. Gamemine needs to get its members more active as most games do not have any reviews and few star ratings.

Gamemine Review of Shipping

I signed up on a Monday and selected 7 games to add to my rent list. Three games had an availability status of "Very Low", three had "Medium", and one was "Available Now".

One hour after adding games to my list, I got an email letting me know they had shipped the game that was "Available Now". Two days later, on Wednesday, the game arrived. Shipping was more than satisfactory.

Summary

Pros - The obvious advantage Gamemine has is its pricing. They are a bit lower than GameFly.

Cons - The biggest problem with Gamemine is the availability of games. For the newer consoles, you will have a big wait time for most games, especially new games.

Games reviews are weak. There are not that many user reviews and no reviews from gaming sites. Some game videos would be nice also.

Conclusion

To sum up this Gamemine review, if the game you want is available, you will be playing in a couple days with quick shipping. Unfortunately, for most games, you will be waiting a long time for them to become available. They do have a free trial, so it doesn't hurt to try them out, but you would be better off with GameFly.
